Hose Reel Pump

Two sets of pumps are available, one on duty and the other on standby. The hose reel pumps draw water from the fire water storage tank. For any four hose reels functioning simultaneously, the pump capacity is typically sized to deliver a flow rate of 120l/min at a running pressure of not less than 2 bars. If an emergency generator is available, it should be used to power the standby hose reel pump set. Otherwise, a diesel engine should be used to power the backup pump set. Fuel should be available for at least one hour of operation.
