PENAMPANG: A pre-dawn Hari Raya blaze burned down three houses completely, another two homes partially as well as affecting three cars and two motorcycles.
Sabah Fire and Rescue department said it received a call at 5.11am of a fire at Lorong Muntahan 3A Taman Dai Ming here.
The operation chief reported the incident involved five single-storey houses.
“Three houses were 100 per cent destroyed while the two were only 20 per cent burned.
“Also destroyed were three vehicles, a Mazda RX8, Proton Iris, and a Toyota Corolla Sedan. Two motorcycles were also destroyed,” said the statement.
The department also found an unconscious man, believed to be in his 60s, outside one of the affected homes.
After an initial treatment, the medical team which arrived attended to the victim for further action.
The fire was brought under control and was completely put out by 8am.
